Edge Pro II Trem?

On the RGT42 theres an Edge pro II tremelo. Whats the difference between the Edge pro and edge pro II? I do notice that the cheaper guitars have the IIs. Could i switch the edge pro 2 out with a floyd rose or Edge pro if i bought the guitar? Would that be a wise choice? thanks
