I'll second his review of the Edwards Sykes LP, I have one also. Very well made and they sound great, especially considering a real LPC is around $3100 and the Sykes model is probably $5K+, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind the real thing, but it just isn't worth that kind of investment to me.
I did change out the pickup selector ring, pickguard, and knobs for standard black, I wanted it a little more subdued. I have black pickup rings too, but I haven't changed those yet, not sure if I'm going to or not. The selector ring bugged me because it was like a piece of mylar, so I popped $3 for a real one.
