effects loop and chains. sometihgn i need clearing up

hi,

some boss pedals ive seen have 2 inputs and outputs for effects chains and suff, this makes no sence to me.

i get the idea where you want to cut off certain pedals when you turn some on, but i dont get HOW this owkr,s i have no idea how this is done and how you go about doing it.

anyone explain it a bit more for me?

you can either run a side chain of effecs, but typically its just stereo outputs if your using two amps and so forth

some pedals feature two inputs so you can process your stereo signal. The line6 pedals have this which is nice.

With all due respect though, as the saying goes, "if you have to ask then you probably don't need it"

I see you asking tons of questions about pedal, boards etc as is, so don't sweat sidechains etc.

Just get your feet wet with a couple of mono pedals such as the fuzz and phaser your asking about and experiement with those for a while.
