effects of installing a bigsby on a les paul?

i was wondering if anyone could list the effects a bigsby vibrato will have on a les paul faded.i want to have one installed but i was wondering what it will sound like afterwards, if anyone knows if it will have any negative effects please post. o ya and im not worried about resale value cause im never sellin her, haha

well.....neil young has a bigsby on a few of his les pauls, and they work well for him....


the only problem i could think of would be tuning issues, make sure that whoseever putting it on does a good job, and MAKE SURE thats its an actually bisby, or forget about ever staying in tune.
