EH EL34's with no logo?

In the back of my amp, I found two Electro-Harmonix EL34 boxes with EL34 tubes inside of them, but they don't have the

on them. I can't get ahold of the guy who owned the amp before me to varify if they are new tubes or not, but I wondered if you guys/gals know if EH sold tubes with no logo years ago. I might presume these tubes were bought in the 2004-2007 time frame. They have "made in Russia" and "EL-34" stamped on them, but that's it.

Very possibly.

On occasion, I'll order some tubes that are backordered. When they come in they often ship them out without the logo on them. Some of us don't have time to let paint dry.

Since they don't say Sovtek on them, they are probably a special recipe such as the EH or one of the other Mike Matthews reissue tubes.

What's in the amp? EH? Do they match the boxes?
Could be an old pair of " who knows what " that came out of the amp and were replaced by the EH,s.

Actually wouldnt suprise me if GV was right. I have the habit of throwing old tubes into the boxes of the ones they are replacing and shelving them.

Are there EH's in the amp right now?
What do the tubes look like do they look like EH's? look at the base plates the glass shape and size and the getters. That will clue you in on who made the tube.

I do the same thing, put the old tubes in the boxes of the new replacement tubes. Thats could very possibly be the case.
