EL 34/83 tubes

I have a Laney LC 30 112, as some of you know! Now she has el 83' tubes in here, but i'm looking for some tubes to get a more of a 'slash' tone, but he has 34's in his. Do you think i could find a 83' tube that sounds similar to a 34?

im not familiar with an el83, do you mean el84?

there are really only a few types of new el84's being made and pretty much every one agrees the jj ones are the best.
