i'm going to wholeheartedly apologize for the vocals up-front. thats not me. haha. what he lacks in talent, he certainly makes up for in spirit.

gear-wise, its guitar & bass through my PODxt. rhythm was my gibson explorer (JB), leads my LTD alexi-600 (blackout neck in bridge), and the tapping solo my LTD m-10 (stock). bass was my SX p-bass.

and before anybody complains about it being too loud, check out the updated version of our album cover...

You're a genius. I guess people born on a 24th of July all are.

Dude... you're awesome. Forget the sheer barrage of cool that is the song but the clip and the joke... I salute you, kind sir.

There is enough genius power in this thread to power a small, small, tiny little small village.

Or to create unbelieably cool metal covers.

Scottish, wanna do a joint project of the Pretenders' 500 Miles, to keep with your roots and my home? :laugh2:

Feeling kinda left out... moving away now. In tears of inadequacy and ostracism.

Ha, This is great Bro! Dig the chunk of the Explorer but a bit saddened not to hear the KK :(

Re: Eleanor Rigby- as youve never heard it before (and probably never want to again)

haha. the guitars for this were recorded in june, which was long before the KKV. it showed up for a couple solos on the album though.

speaking of that guitar, i just did mercyful fate's "come to the sabbath" with it just for kicks. once i get around to doing the solo, ill post it.

holy hell, this song got up to #23 on the heavy metal charts! :laugh2: thanks, kids.

lol the vocals were pretty funny. it would help if you "softened" them up a bit with reverb or something so they arent so up front in the mix.

that was an awesome cover though! nice work
