Without dumping the thing in the ocean is there a relatively easy way to get rid of the hum from an Electar 30 watt tube amp? I don't think it's the power supply to the studio aka the basement or a ground loop since my son's solid state isn't noisy when plugged through my board. Also the big bad Marshall is quiet as a mouse even when it's loud. I don't expect it to ever be completely quiet since I'm sure that some of the components and/or design has flaws. The tubes have been changed which improved some aspects but not the noise. I think it's one of the early Chinese incarnations of Electar.
