Just wondering what you guys thought about these companies...they're never really mentioned around here but I see them used amongst the 'stoner' crowd...some bands get really awesome low-end growl out of these things.

Electric amps. Are godly, the holy grail of tone for anything Fuzz and psych related. Or rock, anything almost.

Green Amps were made for the US market by Orange.
New Matamps are much better.

The GTL/GTO Matamps are based around the early 70s Orange amp design (back when they were the same company). Recently, Matamp stopped making high wattage amps due to lack of overall demand, but in the US there was a high enough demand that Matamps former US distributor contracted a US amp maker to produce ELECTRIC Amps...based on the Matamp designs.

FWIW.....the non-master volumes have a bigger/fuller bottom end than the master volume units....but the master volume units are capable of more preamp gain without blowing your ear drums out.
