i played one in GC a month ago. i cant remember the brand, but i really liked it.

i love the crackle finish on that agile, i want one now. ...thanks a lot. haha.

I played an Italia that looks exactly like that...with a lipstick tube for the drone strings....


It was cool....but it I wouldn't use it in very many songs....the drone strings get kind of anoying if you are just playing a regular song...

SO how does the bridge work, anyone know? Are there sitar bridges that can be put on regular electrics?

Eyb makes bridges, but I'm not sure how you get them anymore.

It would be cool if you could if you could have something mechanical to change the sound that could be flipped on or off so you can still have a normal guitar sound.

i think danelectro made a sitar pedal at one point. they may still make it, i dunno.

I think you would get a better sitar sound if you plugged your guitar into a rock lol

yeah, the dano pedal sounds like a lot of things, but a sitar isn't one.

Both my electric and acoustic Variax guitar had sitar settings that absolutely nailed the old Dano sound.

For some reason, all the different companies that make sitar guitars make them with that same crack pattern finish and lipstick tube pickups.

That's because they're all apeing the old Dano made Coral sitars.

There is a set of volume/tone knobs for the pickup for the drone strings.
