ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

Re: ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

I think once I hook up the EH B9 > Strymon Lex, with the virtual speaker going to one amp and the horn going to another amp, it'll be the closest a guitar can get to a real B3/Leslie.

Splitting the Strymon Lex in stereo is where the sound gets really convincing......especially when you ramp up from slow to fast and visa versa.

Re: ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

I run my rotosphere into two amps as well. makes a big difference

right on Curly, crazy cool

Re: ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

This is kind of annoying really, because now I have to wait around for them to hit the used market.

Re: ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

The organist at church are going to hate me if I get this. You don't know how happy this just made me. Now if I could find a sustain pedal for guitar that works like a keyboard sustain pedal.

I posted a link to the Freeze pedal, but other people beat me to it.

I can't wait to play Green Onions on this pedal or get some Jon Lord-style action going on!!

Re: ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

I see they are starting to show up for pre-order. MF says they're supposed to ship 7-14. Priced at $220.30 @ MF and Sweetwater.

And ordered!

Pop by the forum and see a very relevant thread, I actually just picked this one up yesterday. Cool sounds have been had so far...

Re: ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

Almost 400 bucks this side of the world.
It is however one SICK pedal and I'd love to snatch one.
Maybe used someday.

hey batta batta batta!!!

I doubt any regular on this forum will actually purchase one

~ Why would you doubt that? Some universal knowledge/access to the thoughts and impressions of others? Extensive interviews of the rest of us? Pure guesswork?
Do tell....

Re: ELECTRO-HARMONIX B9 ORGAN MACHINE

I think it sounds awesome!
I saw a recent comment that suggested keeping chord voicings simple, such as 3-note jazz comp chords, and avoid bends.
But of course, who says you can't experiment.

I think it would be great to get one, just to have a pedal that would make people turn their heads, looking for the B-3! :D
