Yea, i use atoms in all of my builds and mods. I have also used mallory, but i use atoms almost exclusively.

Has anyone used Black Gate capacitors in a guitar amp? they're suppose to be the best electolytic capacitor available. they're very expensive though.

I like Mallory 150's, I like Sprague/Vishay Atoms, I like Sprague/Vishay orange drops, I like some rather odd-ball brands of caps as well, mostly because of weird values, I like JJ Can Caps, I like Silver Mica caps,

Oh, you said electrolytics.... Sprague/Vishay have the reliability reputation, but they are only rated to 85 C. There are some others out there that are well made that are rated to 105 C. Depending on the amp, depends on which caps I use.

I like the ones that look like Chiclets. I know I can always bust open my amp and find a torrent of fruity flavor.
