It's not a good deal because it comes w/ "pro tools first", which is a ripoff, and you end up having to buy a new license, once a year now (?) I think, and thats why its so inexpensive now...or so I'm told.

Even if that is true, you don't need Pro Tools to use an Eleven Rack; not even to record with it. IMO $349 is a good deal for a modeler that isn't hugely inferior to the original AxeFx.
