Elixir strings

has anyone else noticed that Elixir strings don't last as long as they did 2 years ago?
did they change them?

I wasn't using Elixers 2 years ago but That is all I use on my acoustic and I love them.They have a set with a thinner coat on them and one with a normal coat if that is the probelm....

I never liked Elixir I felt they got "old" really fast and then they began to hurt my fingers even if I was just using 10's.

I love the polywebs for acoustic but, their electric strings dont last long at all. For electric I went back to good ole slinkys.

I never liked the set that I got in the mail, so I've never bought any more.
