I'm thinking of doing an EMG loaded guitar and wanted to know how the EMG Glenn Tipton Vengeance sounds? has anyone played one? What's it like?

I have not played the Tipton model but the 57 came stock in my Schecter. It is a very cool pick up, open sounding with lots of clarity. I play a lot of metal though, and I find the 81 or 81X better suited for me and what I like to play. I thought the 57 was a little loose on the bottom end and didn't have that "umph" and tightness for palm muted stuff.

If you're located in the U.S., I actually have an essentially new GT Vengeance bridge model in black that I would let go for just $80 shipped (includes the pickup only, no wiring). I'm not going to use it any time soon since I don't have any active guitars at the moment.
