EMG 81x/60x or Fishman Fluence Modern

I want a guitar with actives, I'm looking for that classic modern active tone and I know the Fishman's are more versatile but do they still have that active sound that emg's have?

Simply put, no the Fluence will not have the classic EMG sound. Two pickups with completely different designs which are meant to accomplish two different goals from two different companies will sound completely different. If you want the classic EMG sound, your only viable option are EMGs.
