EMG Afterburner kit

Anyone have any experience with this?

I have an old Korean LTD that has had EMG-HZs in it since forever...and I like them. But have been wanting a bit more output from them time to time, and be able to get close to sounding like my set of actives in another guitar.

Seems like a quick and cheaper solution at $95 instead of the $200+ for a full pickup swap or dual active pickup install.
Especially considering I use predominantly use the bridge pickup so don't feel like buy a replacement neck pickup either.

Re: EMG Afterburner kit

I was thinking of trying one of the SD BMP's with a set that I had. But then I swapped them out and put them in a friend's guitar. The BMP is only about $70 and I think that it will work with the HZ'S.
