EMG HZ 3s compared to EMG HZ 4 and 4a

Does anyone know about these pickups? They came standared (HZ3) on my Jackson DXMG Dinky. I heard the HZ 4 and 4a are better. Please help.

I think the 4s are supposed to be hotter. I tried the 3s, and I thought they were sufficiently hot for my taste, but I would like to hear the ceramic H4s some time. The EMG website should have some of the similarities and differences described.
