EMG output jack

I've been ahving a ton of trouble from my EMG-fitted guitar and I think it's dude to the output jack being in terrible shape, so i'm gonna need to replace it. Can i use a standard jack or do I need something special?

You need a stereo jack, which is different than any-old guitar jack.

You're welcome. I'm sorry that I did not see that you are in Sweden. In that case, a European retailer is probably preferable to one of the ones I posted.

9v active pickups require a three contact jack socket to handle the hot, system ground and battery ground connections. EMG supplies a Switchcraft type quarter inch socket, washers and nut. For some instruments, a barrel jack might be more appropriate. The important detail is the three discreet contacts.
