Emg pots?

Can someone tell me if superstrats (jackson, esp, etc) have short of long shaft pots. It seems the short ones will work. Thinking of trying a set of 57/66 for a parts guitar.

Generally speaking most guitars (especially those without a carved top) use short shaft pots.
