EMG v.s. Seymour Duncan

i'm getting a custom ESP surveyor II bass and i'm debating what brand to start digging into for my pickups

I play jazz, funk and fusion - so i want a warm impacting sound

the stock pickups for the bass are EMG MMTW (B) & 35-P4 (N) ACTIVE PICKUPS

any thoughts?

Get the axe, THEN decide whether to do a pup swap. It might not be necessary.

I have an ESP LTD B304. It came with "ESP" pups. They sound GREAT! I have no intention of changing them.
