EMG's in a trem guitar?

I may have a purple quilt top OLP MM1 coming my way and I'd like to put EMG's in it. But will they work in this guitar since it has a fender style tremelo in it?? Am I stuck with some Dimarzio Evolution pickups?

EMGs will work fine. They use a blade magnet, so there's no need to worry about trem-spacing (or f-spacing).

I don't see why emg's shouldn't work on a tremolo guitar.......all of my guitars that come with emgs have tremolos and they play OK.

yep, emgs are bladed pickups and therefore don't need trem-spacing for pole-piece alinement. I never had problems with the emgs on my guitars.

I knew a guy who had them in a jackson RR guitar with a Floyd and they worked fine.

You shouldn't have a problem
