i am thinking of building myself a two twelve cab and would like some suggestion as to good combos. I really love the eminence governor and the wizard. any other suggestions?? I really love the british tone and ill be playing everything from modern country to 80s metal. so they need to be versatile.

a lot of people do not like the tone, but I have been considering neodymiums lil texas and tonkerlite from eminence because they only weigh 4 pounds.

I use Governors and ManOWars in my 4x12 in an X pattern. Great combo for almost anything.

That's their 'version' of the V30/G12T75 combo isn't it?

Splawn used to recommend that combo before they got their own speakers made.

I don't dislike, I absolutely love it. But it's not versatile and will not give you a neutral sounding clean tone.
