Eminence Wizard TAD 6l6 clip.

I just did this last night, I am really digging those TAD small bottles. On a whim I picked up anThe Wizard TAD variety show Eminence Wizard speaker. Good god I love that thing, just a great rock speaker.

No it isn't but the do sound quite a bit alike. It is a mid 60s Valco PA head with the channels tied together. Using my 62 RI Strat.

It is all amp, I had the volume on 6 and it spits it out nicely. It could do the Kiss thing very well if one was inclined...lol

Heh yeah figured that one, but what a cool sound.

VERY COOL !!. I've been looking into the Wizard speaker for my Laney. I
have a EV SRO in there now. Sounds O.K. But I'm not sure if it can handle
the 50 watts. Besides it's not really the sound I'm going for. The Wizard,
I think is a cross bettween the privte jack and governer? And from that
clip... THAT's THE SOUND I'M GOING FOR !!

Thanks for the honest thoughts. It may be just a matter of taste, I like a brighter bite and the Eminence sound chart says they are aggressive on the top end. They have a really nice sizzle with a full bottom. The description actually defines these speakers really well, it truley does what it says it will. For a 75 watter to have a feel of lower watt speaker breakup really impresses me.

My AOR 50 sounds great with this. I have used the GB12s ( close to the Private Jack) for a long time and these are fuller on the bottom and clean up faster for the neck stuff. It was a whim purchase, but man they have a real solid line up of speakers right now. I could not be more pleased.
