Has anybody here ever play through or own this stompbox? I'm interested in knowing more about it..How would it sound in front of a Blackface Bassman (with LP type guitars w/humbuckers)? How much gain does it have? Would it do hard metal? Is the gain fuzzy?

I do not like fuzz-type distortions, nor thin/buzzy type gain when cranked..Any info would be appreciated.

Re: EMMA RF-1 ReezaFRATzitz Distortion Pedal

I own a ReezaFRATZitz pedal and find it to be quite a versatile beast :)

It is quite a bass-heavy pedal, so imo it does make it unsuitable for use with some amps. I can't actually use it with my Orange AD30 amp as it has alot of bass already, and with the pedal ontop, it doesn't cut through. Whereas with my Carlsbro 50-top, which is a loud clean amp, it sounds very full and thick.

At the highest gain settings it does get a little fuzzy, but not overly so. It's Bias control also lets you tune the harmonic content of the distortion, a control I've not seen on any other OD/Distortion pedals.

Thanks for the info Brow..What would be your opinion of it in front of the Bassman ('65 Blackface)? Although technically a "bass" amp, it's not really all that bassy when plugged into the NORMAL channel..I've read a lot of reviews about it giving it all thumbs up, but I want to know if it'll work with my amp..

I've never used a Bassman myself, so I couldn't really give an opinion on that I'm afraid:banghead:
