hello

Have you tried this expensive multi effects?

-EMPRESS nebulus

-Strymon OLA or MOEBIUS

it sounds great in the videos and mp3

good univibe +a lot of good chorus+multichorus+good flange and more

in one pedal? a dream ? :)

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

The Ola is a good chorus, but the multi chorus is no Tri-Chorus emulation by any means (I presently own an Ola and a Fulltone "That 80s Rack Chorus" {Its a clone of the tri-chorus unit}- All IMO of course). I actually liked the vibrato mode on the Ola.

That being said, even the Lexicon PCM81 6 voice chorusing is different than the tri. Nice, in the same realm, but different.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

Both companies have really excellent sounding stuff. Personally, I prefer the layout of Empress. Bit more convenient for me.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

The Nebulus is digital from what I could make of it. Not entirely sure as there's also mentioning of an analog signal path. Sounds pretty awesome all the same.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

The Möbius is a very impressive pedal and not just for its effects. Its connection options allow it to be both in front of the amp and in the loop at the same time. What's more, you then position the individual effects either side too. It's pretty much the central hub for everything on my board.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

i talked to a guy who has the moebius: he said the strymon had not the trichorus
vibe = good but an analog pedal would be better

You're the only guy I know who owns the Fulltone 80's Rack Chorus.....jeez that thing's almost $1300...and badass!
Is it worth it? I'd love to try one out. I'll bet it sounds amazing in your stereo rack.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

EMPRESS nebulus : just some chorus, vibe and flanger
STRYMON moebius
EVENTIDE modfactor

it's a hard work to have an opinion with youtube
or put a very good headphones, speakers with HD

a lot of money to have everything in-one pedal

but the sound?you must try it or you have the right to return the pedal in good condition and they can pay you back

eventide has made a lot of pedals for shimmer effect, reverb, delay, pitch
very strange effects for ambiant sounds

i have not played with it yet

i think that i will buy the Mooer elec lady
mxr univibe

but i will need a large or huge pedalboard :28:

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

The Eleclady is a mini pedal, the univibe (the newst version I take it) isn't that big either.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

i look for a wonderful chorus (which can do leslie effect too)
and a flanger which can go to a zero flanger (van halen?) to the Cure to chorus

chorus and flanger in one pedal

is there only the tc electronic ? old pedal

or t rex twister2

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

There's the old FoxRox Paradox Flanger - it did a nice chorus and leslie-ish thing too.

Rare and hard to find.

Also the H9.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

You're talking about a Mobius - As I recall, the H9 is in the same price range.

$20 per additional algorithm (there's 15 or so presets in an algorithm). It might take some tweaking, but I think what you need is in the standard H9 (not the core). You might want the rotary algorithm as an addition.

It won't do the tri-chorus either, but I hear its definitely capable if Eventide ports the Eclipse algorithm to the H9.

Re: EMPRESS / STRYMON

the h9 seems to be good but there are 3 models

the h9 max is so expensive

their website is not very good
