Vintage spec like the SSL-2's with a wah and fuzz pedal through a vintage spec Marshall tube amp will be a start. However, let's be honest, his tone was as much in his fingers, style and soul as it was in his gear.

The SSL-2's are the same pickups as the SSL-1's but without the staggered poles. You really only need staggered poles if your neck has a 7.25" radius IIRC. Most Strats can get away with the SSL-2's. If you want vintage Strat Hendrix tone then get the SSL-2's.

If you want more versatility and do not only need the Hendrix tone a cool setup would be to get SSL-2's but use either a rw/rp ssl-5 in the middle or a regular ssl-5 bridge pickup in the bridge position. This is a real cool setup IMO.

That suggested combination, the SSL-5 Bridge, SSL-1 Neck/Mid (and it's Flat Radius equivalent of the SSL-6, SSL-2) is a great combination for most types of music. The one thing that you might want to keep in mind though, with Hendrix, is that a lot of his famous bridge pickup sound came from how fuzzed out it was with the Fuzz Face pedal.
The SSL-5 might push it too hard and you might end up with something far too gainy and smooth, instead of a little rude/spitty like Hendrix's was.
I would suggest just a full set of SSL-2 if ALL you want to play is Hendrix, but SSL-6 for in the bridge for versatility.

Fender Custom Shop 69 is THE Hendrix sound. Unfortunately they aren't good for much else.
The SSL1 SSL5 combo that others recommended are not quite as good as the 69 for Jimi, but they are pretty good at it. The Duncan's are much more useful for a much wider range of music though.

yep that will be fine even tho the ssl5 is much hotter than what jimi would have used.
Any strat set will do really. Its mostly about the right amp and fuzz pedal combination.

SSL-2's can do Hendrix perfectly as long as you have the right gear to go with it. I definitely would not say the CS69's are "the Hendrix sound" either. Again, you need the right gear to go with the pickups. Pickups alone will never get you signature tone without considering gear.
