Enter the butcher's shop

Re: Enter the butcher's shop

"I have seen guitars like this in way worse shape brought back very nicely from the dead so I am hoping there is a talented luthier out there that is willing to work with this one and save it! It is as shown in the pics with slices in various spots but mainly in the top and it has been lightly glued back together. The headstock is off and will obviously need to be repaired as well."

I guess if the world is ending soon, why not? A chopped-up Les Paul will keep the campfire burning for a lot longer than a few Benjamins, right? Let's just hope they opt for the Expedited Shipping!

Re: Enter the butcher's shop

That lefty jazz bass body project looks somewhat redeemable, unlike this poor guitar!

Gives a whole new meaning to the term "double cutaway."

There's something apocalyptically cool about this. Too bad they f**ked the headstock structurally.

It has that easy high fret access like a Gibson SG. Believe it or not, the neck is actually glued on...no bolts!

The Gibson jigsaw puzzle sold for $345:smash:

That wasn't rare. It was pulled out of Gibson's dumpster. Someone bought actual trash.
