After too many countless day the epi firebird is completed…it's a limited edition sunburst with PG and PG+, jimmy page wiring with 4 push pull pots for a multitude of pickup combinations, a varitone switch to give it thin to fat tone, TP6 tailpiece and GT black tusk nut and saddles! Moved the strap button from the side to the back of the body.

That guitar looks great, and i imagine it would sound great too.
What are those tuners? Are they those Steinberger ones, or were they standard on that guitar?

The tuners are direct drive gear-less Steibergers and they're stock on the latest incarnation of the firebird. The PGs sound incredible in the large mahogany body…this is one bird whose song sounds nasty and fiery…not sure there's a sweet bone in her body!

Nice . Shame they only make those in faded red.
I don't know if you saw it, but there was this one at the Swop Shop. It's an Epiphone with Gibson trussrod cover. They come stock with the Steinberger tuners. These guitars get a pretty good rap from what I've seen. This one's going for $800.
