Epi LP G string intonation/new bridge?

I have an Epiphone Joe Perry Boneyard Les Paul that I bought new in 2006. The intonation has always been a little off on the G string, and as I've acquired better crafted guitars over the years that intonate better I want to try and get this one more in tune.

The g string is a little sharp at the 12th fret and gets more sharp at the 15th and 17th fret. Major and minor triads on the D, G and B strings sound a little out. Right now I have the G string saddle as far as it will go in the bridge direction so I'm out of adjustment options. I noticed on another guiter when I upgraded to a better quality Gotoh bridge the guitar was easier to intonate.

Would upgrading the stock bridge help? If so what one would fit an Epiphone Les Paul from about 2006?

Thanks!

Got a picture? Sometimes you have to take the saddle out, and flip it around the other way to get a little bit more range out of it. It's pretty common.

I suppose you could try flipping a few of the saddles on the stock bridge if they are not flipped already to move the point of impact back just a touch? Even that tiny bit can make a world of difference! If this was done to two or three of the saddles already then buying a new bridge that allows for more movement in either direction should get you much closer to where you'd like to be. Most of the newer quality T.O.M. bridges are a little wider both ways & allow you to dial the intonation in a little better....

Upgrading to a better bridge will help for sure. The abr style bridge epiphone uses has about an 1/8th of an inch less adjustment range than the Nashville style gotoh bridge, but I wouldn't go with a gotoh. Everyone I've seen are really loose on the hight adjustment posts, which can and will at some point, screw with your tuning and intonation. Go for a tonepros or a babicz. I think you will be happier. But, before you do anything, have a repairman look at your bridge, and file out the slots. The nut as well, just to make sure the problem is the bridge saddle adjustment length. Most epiphone guitars come with plastic nuts and soft metal bridges. Over time, the strings cut in, and leave your nut and saddle slots a mess. You can tell the saddle slot needs help if there is a small, sharp bump of metal, protruding out just under the string on the neck side of the bridge.

I don't know if it's still the case, but the TonePros bridges that fit Epiphones used to be Gotoh.

Here's a photo of the bridge, it looks like I could get a bit of extra distance swapping the Saddle around, thanks for the idea. If anyone knows a decent but affordable drop in bridge replacement please send me a link, thanks! (In case the Saddle swapping isn't enough).

Tonepros makes a good metric bridge. Be sure it's metric. But, as far as that bridge goes, remove the little wire, pull out the saddle, put the screw in the other side, and put it back together. That'll put its tilt toward the tailpiece and give you the extra room you need.
