I'm thinking pickup upgrade for my '94 Sheraton. I'd like an AC/DC sort of growl. An open sounding pickup not necessarily 335ish. I had a Gibson 335 with the 57 classics on it and did not like them. I have 59's on a couple of my guitars (in the neck) and like them. I also have JB's, Jazz and a Scream ‘in Demon. I wonder if the 59 Hybrid has a bit more gain and bite than the '59 (SH1). Anyone familiar with these pickups on a 335 style guitar? Is the SH1 (neck) SH16 (bridge) a good idea?
