Epiphone color code

Does anyone know the color code for Epiphone 4 wire humbuckers? I can't find it anywhere. Is there a way to check the quick plug without cutting it off ?

Re: Epiphone color code

Those would be called Molex cables. I have this other form of doing pickup swaps myself and it's a similar approach how I'd check the color code or to see if a pickup works.

With molex cable connectors they use a male and female variant similar to USB cables. All you would be after is a female version.
so to test them without cutting the cables I'd suggest getting a female Molex cable and then you could simply go at it with a multimeter to see

If it's a guitar you play a lot and plan to do pickup swaps on there is a third party company that makes molex cables just for epiphones. However the les paul forum was extremely helpful in this regard. When I had a friend bring a les paul deluxe one of those with the acoustic pickup in the fretboard (shadow pickup of some sort). I ended up just splicing the cables as he didn't want to wait 2 or 3 weeks for me to get some cables from China.

to solve the color code they may have switched at some time. This was a very insightful post. They switched out the color code at one time or another so if the standard Gibson style color code they suggest doesn't work I'd definitely break out the multimeter.
