F Funkfingers Guest Feb 16, 2015 #2 Re: epiphone firebird The stock pickups in the majority of Asian-built Epiphone instruments tend to be underwhelming. Pretty much anything would be an improvement. I am a big fan of the PGN but only in the neck/Rhythm position.
