How much can I get for a mint Epiphone G-400?

I'm working out a deal and I figure I can take the guitar and sell it for more than my original gear for sale.

I was asking $200 for the pedal, my nova delay. I'd say the guitar is easier to sell don't you think?

I'd guess that $200-$250 would be fair for an Epi SG. My .02

I would suspect that it would be much easier to unload the guitar.

A straight swap followed by you selling the guitar on for a cash profit makes sense ONLY if you can afford to have the money tied up for the time that it takes to offload the guitar.

While the Epiphone is under your roof, you can give it a stern A/B comparison against your friend's Gibson SG.

I did.. and I sold the Epiphone. It's true kids. No the G-400 isn't "just as good" as the SG standard. No, pickups won't "get it there". Nothing like that.

I bought an Epiphone SG Special for $125.00 including shipping, excellent condition. Surprisingly good low ender.

I got $225 out of it. Might seem low but I don't mind, I was asking $200 for the original gear I was selling.

That's one of my favourite Gibson colours, if the playability is there I'd be inclined to keep it.
