I plan on checking one out today. I hope my local Epi dealer has one in stock. Its a small store so I don't know.

i have never seen one in a store that was there more than a week. ive probably only seen a handful in stores but a friend has two of em. one black and one gold. not a fender type tone but full and punchy

The Casady is nowhere near the old EB-2 I used to own. While they're both semi hollows- the EB-2 played much better- a better neck. HOWEVER, the EB-2 was useless tonally (at least to me). The Casady seems like a very versatile bass- I didn't expect to like it- but I did. Not enough to get or even GAS for one, but I did like it.

The Rumblekat is only a 30" scale no? I used to have a Hagstrom Swede bass that was 30" scale, great for Stonesy-type stuff, never come across the Rumblekat yet. That might be cool for around the house.

I like the Jack model, they are very cool.
