Epiphone LP Goldtop

So a freind of mine has hanging on his wall an Epiphone LP Goldtop.
Thing never gets played.
Anyways it is a second I believe as it is factory stamped used on the back of the head.
The tuners were replaced with I believe planet waves lockers and it has an unknown roller bridge.
Pickups are a weird set of humbuckers that have a one peace flat plastic bobbin or cover plate.
What would this axe be worth? Perhaps minus the pickups?
Im thinking on making an offer for it. I have a Gibson 490r/t set here and my cheap acoustic has grovers i could swap over. And maybe can the bridge for a knockoff Bigsby.

What year is it? And what did it cost new?
No idea. Its been hanging on the wall 5yrs that I know of and he got it used. So maybe 10yrs?
I dont wanna be a lowballer. Just figuring if it aint worth a ton might be a cool project.
Not a huge LP fan( just sold my LP classic) but on the cheap might be cool to have one again.

epi lp standard? a buddy of mine just bought one for $400 thats is pretty good shape, if this is one is a second, its worth less than that.

I had an Epiphone Second years ago, played great, only issues I could find was the tuning pegs were mounted a bit crooked and the toggle switch must of been replaced, as a standard size toggle switch cap was too big.

Played great, had this cool large flake gold top on it. My room mate at the time had gotten an EBMM and didnt care for the Dimarzios that came in it, so while I had the guitar, he let me put the Dimarzios in it, sounded great from what I recall.

Well, if it has been hanging there for a long time, and he doesn't use it, any money you offer will seem like a win, unless he just likes the art on the wall.
