Epiphone Slash Model

Man I got an Epiphone Slash Sig model, SIGNED by Slash himself yesterday. I cannot believe how good this guitar plays and even better how it sounds.

Ill confess - I have been playing guitar for 25 years, and I have rarely played a Les Paul. Ive been a strat player since the beginning. But man, this guitar with the SD Alicno Pro II pups sound, well, like Slash.

When I first plugged in to my Peavy JSX, it sounds just like the Appetite for Destruction album. Ill post some pics and a You Tube vid as soon as I get a chance.

If the authentic Gibson LP's play better than this, then I may need to sell my car:cussing:

A buddy of mine works at Best Buy, and they had a Best Buy sponsored "jam" session where Slash played. He actually won a signed Epi Slash model. Hes a bass player, so he sold it to me. I know there is a lot of people who hate Epis, but this one plays like a real Gibson.
It sounds ****ING AWESOME. Ill post some pics soon.

Welcome to the club! Now ur goin to hear what youve been missing all these years! I played both. Of course I preferd the Gibby over the Epi. The paint job on the Gibby is much nicer too. I didn't buy it because of the weight and because I have 2 already!

I played the Epi. It had a nice feel and decent tone. The setup on it was good. Not bad!
