Hi everyone, I have a 2014 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top Pro that I wanted to put a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge. When I opened up the electronics cavity, I was surprised to find that instead of the normal solderings on the wires to the pots, all 4 pickup wires are connected to a molex connector (assuming Epi is cloning the Gibson quick connect?). I did find the wiring color codes on the site ( http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=color_codes ), however I haven't been able to find anything as to how to connect a SD pickup to the quick connect. Would it be as simple as cutting the current wires and then soldering the correct corresponding SD wires to the existing ones connected to the molex connector? I know people will say to replace all of the wiring and pots, however I have NO soldering or electronics experience so was looking for the easiest solution at this point.
