I have a super II which is has like 9 treble, 6 mid, and 4 bass. It's in the neck of my strat. I was testing the height of the pickup and didn't really notice any increased muddiness when I increased height. Do you guys think this would probably due to high value of treble in this pickup? This pickup also have very high output.
It might have been also the eq settings I was using on my amp. What settings would you guys recommend for adjusting pickup height or should I just adjust based on settings I use mostly?
How about testing for muddiness should I use chords and single notes to test for that?
