I am not sure that Duncan makes one that sounds close to those??
Maybe a C5??
Yeah would probally suit your Ibanez fine, since both the Wolfgang and the RG both are Basswood bodies.
Rid said:Yeah I heard that too, but it seems that actually do now.
I destroyed my neck PU by accident some time ago, and was thinking of getting a replacement, and back then I could only get a new one if I shipped the old one back, now they seem to have soften up...dunno??

my friend bought his new wolf over for me to hear and i love the pups! the guitar was not too shabby either :laugh2:
is there a set that is close? how would they sound in a ibanez RG?
I tried a tone zone before and did not like it? it is similar to a wolfgang bridge pup? when i tried the tone zone it had a boost like i had a pedal on or something the wolf pup does not have that?papersoul said:Yea, that guitar plays great and the pickups are similar to the tone Zone or Air Zone from what I hear. I used to own a Wolf.
thanks, i just scored a set from the trading post!rspst14 said:I really don't think any pickup sounds quite like the Wolfgang pickups, which is why everyone wants to get their hands on them. Peavey just recently started offering them for sale, and before that, they went for as much as $70 each on Ebay...used. When I sold my set, I made enough to cover the cost of two brand new Duncans. But anyway, there are pickups that are kind of similar, but none that sound exactly like the Wolfgang pickups.
