Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette Special on Ebay

Curly

Moe's Bluesman
I've been taking a look at EBs lately, and I have an Albert Lee on order.

Here's a Silhouette Special ... I'm not looking for SSH myself, so I thought I'd pass the info along ...

not sure where the bids will end up - this has dings, but it also has a beautiful flamed neck. I'd probably change the pups, but these are quality, playable axes, IMO:

Let me know what you think of that albert lee when you get it, I was looking at those and the silhouettes myself.

I went and looked at an Albert Lee before I ordered mine.
It played great! You will find that people rave about the finish on EBs - it's a gun oil finish that feels perfect - like it's broken in. For years I've heard that EBs neck joint is one of the best in the biz too.

FWIW, as far as the Silhouettes, Keith Richard got one years ago, and said he felt that those guitars were made the way Leo used to make guitars.

one nice thing about the Albert Lee is that it comes with SD APSs. :)

I *Love* my Silo Special...and replaced the HSS with HH (aph2, CC)..I bought a new pickguard and wired in a snap in connector, so if I ever want to change back, it takes a few minutes and no soldering. A good idea for pre-wired strat pickguards too.

I was looking at this guitar too... thats a little more damage than I'm willing to accept. I can['t believe some stupid kid wouldn't take better care of a $1500 guitar. :argh:
