Esp E-II Guitars?

I assume the E-IIs are a middle ground between the ESPs and LTD series..? The EIIs are advertised as made in Japan. Anyone have any experience with the E-II Mystique model? Its a double cutaway, hard tail. I have a thing for blue flame or quilt maple guitars. I had to sell my Gibby and would prefer a single cut, but this mystique looks pretty nice. I assume its aiming for the EVH/PRs market.
feedback?

Re: Esp E-II Guitars?

I believe the order of their product lines goes esp original, esp usa, eII, ltd deluxe, ltd standard. The eII line effectively replaced the ltd elite line. e-II line is taking the place of esp japan which i believe is at custom shop prices now. If im wrong let me know but i hope that helps

I own one, it's an HRF model with Blackouts in there. The E-IIs are the re-labelled ESP Standard models WEF 2014, done by the same hands. Also WEF 2014, the MIJ LTD Elites were discontinued, whatever's offered in 2013 had been included in the E-II range.

Thanks for the info.. So, you like it? neck thin? I assume its a quality piece? I imagine it is, being ESP. I think the LTDs are pretty darn good. And these EIIs are pretty pricey
