Hey-

I have to oppertunity to but a guy's used ESP Horizon. It's a h/s model with active EMGs, licensed Floyd Rose, flamed maple top, clear finish. It's in mint condition, but I don't know just exactly how much I should offer him. eBay didn't have this exact model, so I'm out of luck there. Since ESP no longer offers this same model, my websearch of online guitar shops was no help.

So whatcha think? It's similar to the pic, but has a single coil EMG pup in the neck position.

I would say to look for the price of the new model used then add like 50 bucks because it's not made any more. :laugh2:

The new ESP horizons go for $1329, but this one has EMGs and a Floyd. I haven't come across a new "used" one as of yet... I just wanted a ballpark figure. What would you pay for a guitar like this?

There's a local shop with a new "used" Horizon. It's been the store demo guitar for years. I asked if they'd sell it (it's a purple see-thru, hella cool) and the guy said $950. I almost laughed in his face. Of course, this is a fixed bridge, stock pickup guitar.

So I guess I should call this guy up, huh? Found a pic of the same model on the Russian ESP website!

Yes- The pic was just to show the layout of the guitar. It has flame maple top, EMGs, and a Floyd. Not sure whether it was a custom shop or not.

I just got some pics of it today- it's an old ESP Horizon model, almost antique! It has the licensed ESP locking Floyd that's shaped rather oddly. It's also a bolt on, and the color has aged to an almost butterscotch color. He said he wants $750 for it, but I don't know. I already have a bunch of guitars just like that! Maybe I'll offer him $500 for it. It looks like it's on really good shape for an almost 25 year old guitar!
