Esp Ltd Ex400bd

Re: Esp Ltd Ex400bd

i didn't like the kelly, my friend has one in crimson swirl, i didn't care for it, it was small, and the strap placement is horrible, it's on the back of the guitar and is very bothersome, i deffanitly like the ex better.

Re: Esp Ltd Ex400bd

if you want to 'cure' the neck heaviness you're gonna have to place it there too.. just like an sg

the kelly is jsut as neck heavy, when i said the back of the guitar i meant like on the back of the body like if it was a strat it would be on the back of the horn it's a very odd spot

i know very well where the strap button is on a kelly. i didnt find it as neck heavy though.. maybe cos i'm used to my guitar, which has the strap button on the back of the neckplate... a rugged leather strap might cure it also.

Re: Esp Ltd Ex400bd

i am pretty used the the guitar now though, my hand does get tired faster because the neck is thicker, but the neckheaviness facter doesn't bother me too much ne more. by next week or so it shouldn't bother me at all

Re: Esp Ltd Ex400bd

My Rhoads felt neck heavy as hell when i played it with a nylon strap,
but with leather strap, it balances perfectly.
May be the case with your ex to...
