Hey!

Anyone looking for one of these guitars? #30 is for sale on eBay, $2k first bid.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33038&item=3762582696&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

I recall that these were a limited run of 50 (not 40 like he states), and that when it was ordered, the buyer could specify what color eyes the skull had. The problem with this guitar is that in order to play it in public (and not get laughed at), you had to be a shredder on par with Lynch, Vai, Satriani, etc...!

It's sooo cool from a collector's point of view, but I think that it is one of the ugliest guitars ever! :D

Re: ESP Lynch Skull w/ Flames

I think you're right- the only guy who looks right holding one is Lynch himself!

my favorite is the original Jfrog "mom"
I like that guitar, too. One day I will have a Frog in my collection, tho I will probably start with a Glock 22 and get a custom graphic before I get a skull + bones ... Killer workmanship on those guitars! The ESP knockoffs are laughable in comparison!

YEAH..the ESPs look cool if you don't compare them against the original...when you do you see so many errors...

i'm with you on the J.FROG glock 22!!!!!!!!!! they are sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Re: ESP Lynch Skull w/ Flames

The same model has been floating around shops in my city for about a decade. No takers.

Strangely, I saw a small-town reggae band playing on a local tv show last week, and the rhythm guitarist's plank of choice was a kamikaze1.

Perhaps GL ESPs are the great sleeper reggae guitar?

It sold for $3250!!!!
Unusual Lynch guitars are becoming like unusual Jems, in terms of value, tho I think that the ESPs have more to offer, in terms of what a collectible guitar should be.
