ESP Sambora

Re: ESP Sambora

I mean do Rock stars have to make a new body design just to distinguish their guitar from the rest?

Re: ESP Sambora

This has been around a few years.

Sambora's guitar tech has been building him custom guitars over the past few years with the Floyd Rose Speedloader system, and has made Ritchie a copy of this signature Kramer, without the stars. Ritchie's been trying to help the guy get a distributor for his guitars or have them mass produced. This was the most original design the tech had, to Ritchie was able to convince ESP to make it- and he plays it on stage, to help his guitar tech.

That's partially why ESP and LTD aren't on the headstock- not to mention the guitar is made from very cheap parts, even compared to LTD.

On tour, Ritchie plays everything- custom Floyd Rose guitars, guitars made by his tech, Fenders, Gibsons, etc....

Re: ESP Sambora

Well when you look as cool as Ritchie Sambora on stage, playing Bon Jovi songs, you can make the guitar look cool.

The guitar does look fugly, but somehow looks OK with Sambora playing it

Talking about ESP not having its logo on the guitar.. reminds me of the early LPs without the Gibson logo. Imagine if these become a rage.

Re: ESP Sambora

I like it in a way. It combines some vintage looks with a radical shape and a Floyd... not the best looking guitar I've seen but it still works for me...

Re: ESP Sambora

I think when it came out I liked it... I reckon I was drunk.

Fugliest thing ever. And I like 60's guitars like Eko's and Dano's...

Re: ESP Sambora

Blah never liked that thing. He had great taste back in the 80's and his early 90's Fender signatures were cool too. Now he's just lost it. This one will always be kick ass

Re: ESP Sambora

I must be one of the few that actually likes it. The ESP looks a bit different than the original that he has. The one his tech made isn't as fat looking.
