If you don't do it in that shade of green, you're dead to me.

Re: Esquire color finalists

I associate Shell Pink with the nineteen sixties and, hence, with rosewood fingerboards.

Re: Esquire color finalists

Of these I like the green, but just because there was no Pelham Blue option :p

Re: Esquire color finalists

Green. Shell pink is atrocious. However, I am not a fan of that green either. I prefer a classic Fender green, such as Sherwood.

Re: Esquire color finalists

Inverness is a classic Gibson color and is very similar to Sherwood, except lighter

Re: Esquire color finalists

both are ugly imo. You may as well paint it sh!t brown if you do one of those.

Paint it orangey red instead.

Re: Esquire color finalists

For what it's worth, I really like the pink one too. I think Funk's right though. The pink would look better with a rosewood board. The green suits the maple much better, in my opinion.

Re: Esquire color finalists

One of each.;)

Seriously, I agree. The thing about "Fender Custom Colors" is that they look UNBELIEVABLE together in a rainbow of godly dupont paint. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Nothing like a dakota red next to a fiesta red next to a shell pink next to a olympic white next to a sonic blue next to a lake placid blue next to a sherwood green next to a surf green next to a etc etc etc hehehe

Shell pink is soooo badass though. That gets my vote even though I'm a green fanatic :smokin:
