The only way that pink is acceptable is if you perform onstage wearing a tie with no shirt. (That applies to the ladies as well.)

....Or playing in some glam rock band of the 80's.
If you were the artist formally known as somebody else you may also get away with it.
Pink is just not a good color on a guitar.

I love pink but never liked shell pink.
