Such a shame that New Hartford facility went down. Hamer made some of the best electric guitars ever and Jol was a genius.

Jol is still making guitars and the guys from that shop are venturing out also. The brother of Fender Custom shop master builder Yuri Shishkov is Michael Shishkov and he was a builder for Hamer for over 25 years, IIRC. He has started Shishkov Guitars and they are looking good.
