Is this thing really any good or did they just take some generic piece and slapped a famous brand name on it?
While I didn't buy this plugin (I have the Eventide Anthology), it looks almost exactly like my Eventide Pitchfactor's software (which controls the PitchFactor via USB if you want, vs. manual knobs).
I think for the discount price, if you're into pitch-shifting/doubling, it's a no brainer. Even at the normal price ($99), it's a steal. This is the sound that is on countless big-time records; on different instruments and vocals.
